June 2004 Update... IT`S A BOY!

On Friday 5/28/04, at 11:11 AM, Jill and I were blessed with a grandson. It is something I can’t explain, the feelings I have inside, but I hope that everyone has a chance to have the same ones. This makes us two-time grandparents. Hopefully one or both will want to wheel a racecar. I would love that!

On the racing front, we are going to run the sprint car and back out of the road racing for a while. We added up the numbers and figured we can run about five times this year providing we do not tear it up. We are going to run on July 10th at the Thunder Dome. So do us a favor on that night about 6 PM. Take a deep breath..., look up, cross your figures and wish us luck!

We tested at Chowchilla last weekend. We were able to run about a hundred laps and burn up tires. It was a blast. The changes we made worked and we are ready to rock.

We got the muffler out to Indy to be tested. I am hoping that they like the way it works. If they do, it will be time for it to hit the market!

I am hoping to strike a deal with someone who wants to manufacture and market it .

Between a new grandchild and running the sprint car life is better than any dream I have ever had.
